I'm glad to hear how far you've come, Tim, even since you last wrote. That Dan thinks you're ready to start racing again is quite something, whether or not you actually do it. Your insightful writing over the past three years has allowed us all to share in your experience and support you emotionally, and for that I am grateful.
May 2024 be the year you hope for in all respects.

Hi Tim (and Gayle),
I thought of you on Dec. 29 as I remembered this day and all that followed. Your courage and strength of mind, body and spirit is inspiring and the life that Gayle has for you is beautiful. I look forward to seeing you this winter, on or off the slopes!
Happy, healthy New Year. Patty

Thank you, Tim. Your post is so timely this New Year’s Day, and serves as a reminder of the choices we face in adversity. Either to allow the fear to hold us in place or even move backwards, or embrace the uncertainty and plod forward as best we can. Happy New Year!

It is always good to put thoughts down on paper so they can get solidified. You are such a great writer, Tim, and have so many friends and family rooting for you as you continue healing and retrying those skis and bikes. Good to have someone with you as you venture out into nature. Happy new year!

You are a walking miracle, Tim! Hurtling down the hill or not. So many adventures ahead of you even if the race skis gather dust. Happy New Year to you and Gayle!

I'm so happy that you have the skis strapped on your feet and getting the dust off. This is a tremendous accomplishment. Just keep living into life as it evolves for you.
