Hi Rick Loftus here, I'm very sad to see Tim pass away. I'm also happy with your interest on finding the real answers to his issues. I was blessed with my faith or a bit lucky. My disease was more aggressive in that UofM was able to find my answers to a by- lateral ( both lungs) transplant. And the doctors said it was a very tough surgery. And Said it was between God and Ralph (rick) . So thats why i said either my faith or lucky. I remeber Tim from young age, i thought he was cool guy, and had the biggest smile. We ran into each other during our work time he was working with Treo, and I was an electrician at the time. I will always keep my prayers for Tim he was a beautiful and cool man. There's more to say , for now I will reach out to your family as we heal from your loss.God bless your whole family. Rick / Ralph Loftus .

Only Tim could be taken by something so rare. Rare people are tough to take. We miss our rare friend. But we will celebrate Tim until the time comes we can be together again. Bill "T"

I am so glad that there is an answer. It makes closure so much easier when there is a reason. I hope this gives everyone a bit more of what they need to make peace with his departure. I know it got me a little closer to acceptance. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the update. Tim was our delivery guy at the dental office I work at. I think of him every time we get a delivery from the lab. He was such a great person. May he rest in peace.
