Tim’s Story

Site created on August 26, 2019

Last night 8-25-19  Tim was in a motorcycle accident a couple blocks from home.  He is currently in ICU. He’s on a ventilator but not a heart machine because his heart is strong. There’s no internal bleeding., He has a couple broken ribs and a fractured 3rd  vertebrae which is why they think he wasn’t breathing when he was found.  He is in an induced coma and they are hoping cooling down his body for a couple days will help with the brain swelling. He looks good but only time will tell the extent of his brain injury and if he will pull through this. Please keep Tim in your prayers. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts, prayers and questions and apologize for not getting back to you as we are here to support Tim, Lisa and the boys. All updates will be posted here.  You are welcome to post all prayers, pictures and comments here.

First I want to apologize for not posting anything for a while, my bad!
Lisa and Tim want to thank everyone for showing up to the benefit and for all the generous birthday gifts Tim received.
They raised and received enough money to start hunting  for a wheelchair accessible van! They went to look at a few so far but the ads have been very deceiving. They found another one today that looks great so keep your fingers crossed. Tim has been doing well and continuing his therapy. He is slowly starting to regain some of the movement he lost when he was sent to Watertown.
Again, thanks for all your love and support Tim and Lisa received through this journey. They look forward to getting out and about and seeing more people once they get the wheelchair accessible van.
God Bless
