Journal entry by Jacqueline Hagerott —
April’s been a whirlwind of a journey. Addi and I have made significant strides in physical therapy. Ally has enjoyed attending school and making new friends. Ashlyn is back attending school in Bismarck while playing soccer leaving little time for much else. Alyssa’s freshman year at NDSU is quickly coming to a close with finals the second week in May.
Addi, Ally and I will be traveling back to Bismarck the end of this week coupled with Alyssa visiting from NDSU. This, of course, brings mixed emotions. Happiness that we are going home, but sad to face the reality that Kelli is absent.
My advice to the girls has simply been this, Take comfort in knowing that mom is watching over us as our guardian angel and honor her by living as she did; a smile on her face and kindness in her heart.
Last, but certainly not least, Thank you for all of your continued support and prayers. It is truly appreciated.
