Kaitlan,That was a beautiful tribute to you grandfather. We too have had him in our thoughts lately. We had our fond memories of him also. We spent every Derby Day together celebrating the day of racing with a lot of cheering, eating and friendship. We will always raise a glass in his honor on that day..
I still reminise of all the times we went out to dinner as couples. One of my favorite memories is sitting in the back seat behind Tim admiring his latest hair hairstyle. He was definitely creative.
Oh so many fond memories--
The Italian wine tasting Tim and Pat had. Your granddad had a black wig on and a white jacket that servers wear. He was lipsincing to an Italian opera with all the joy and exuberance he possessed ( and that was a lot)
He was always the life of the party!!!!
We cherish our picture of him in his wheel chair sitting on the dock at our neighborhood October fest, laughing, and socializing with all the neighbors -- BEING TIM 😍
THERE ARE TOO MANY MEMORIES TO RECALL, BUT THEY COME BACK TO U.S. AS WE FLOAT IN THE WATERS. THOSE MEMORIES ARE JUST LIKE THE WAVES_ THEY JUST KEEP COMING.
His beacon of light from above is constantly searching for all that were a part of the wreckage. His caring nature is trying to rescue us from the pain of the wreckage and trying to take us to a safer place. One day we will all be on the rescued vessel and share the same joy and laughter just as it used to be.
