Tim’s Story

Site created on December 9, 2021

Thank you all for checking in on Tim. As you might have heard, he was on a road trip down to the Southwest to see his cousin and visit Jack at ASU. His Mom, Nancy Becker, had just passed away and he was looking forward to a Route 66 celebration of life. He was hit by a truck the evening of 12/7 outside of Vegas. It totalled his car and he got the full meal deal- jaws of life extraction, medavac to Sunrise Hospital in Vegas and an admit to their Trauma ward. Sunrise is the Harborview of Las Vegas so he's in great hands. HOW TO REACH TIM Tim's phone was lost in the accident but we should have him set up with a temporary cell phone tomorrow- we'll post the number here as soon as it's live. In the meantime, if possible, hold off on calling until we have a cell phone number. The direct line in his room is the only way for his Seattle doctor to reach him so we're trying to keep in open. If you want to send him a WHAT DOES TIM NEED? 1) Right now your good wishes and emails would be fantastic. By tomorrow, your texts and calls will be be great. If you know anyone who would want to reach out, please forward this link so they can get updates and the new phone info. https://caringbridge.org/visit/timbecker 2) Once he has the surgery set up, he should have some more concrete ways to help. He's looking at a long rehab and recovery so there will be plenty of ways to show the love. We'll be using Caringbridge to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and look forward to giving you better news soon.
