Thomas is home! 

After meeting his goals of taking steps with a hand held assist and walking 40 ft with his walker, he was cleared to go home. He is also able to do a seated transfer from the bed to his wheelchair and wheelchair to the couch. We are all enjoying this new level of independence he has .

He still has a long road of hard work to get back to his pre-surgery abilities. Pray he will be motivated to do his exercises and that we will be consistent on our end as well. We are thankful for the Homebound program and his teacher. We also pray for motivation with school work. 

Thank you for continuing on this journey with us! This past week brought to mind for me lots of memories of love, encouragement and support from the past when hospital stays were much more common for Thomas. God has used you to carry us through some really difficult times. Our marriage and family would not be what it is today without you following the prompting of the Holy Spirit to love us so well. Even in remembering and experiencing some hard days, my heart is full of love and joy.
