Hello friends. The memorial for Dad will be on Wednesday, 7/31, at 2pm at the Medina United Methodist Church - 263 Reed Ave, Medina, TX 78055. We'll have a reception afterwards in the church lobby, so we have the chance to talk with you all. No need to dress up. If needed, the church is providing childcare. Just sent us an email if you need childcare, so we can let them know how many kids to expect (thshatkins@gmail.com).

We'll have a memory book for everyone to share stories in. If you'd like to write it out and bring it or email it to us (thshatkins@gmail.com), that'd be wonderful. We'd also love to have any favorite pictures of Dad that you might have brought to the memorial or emailed to us. 

If you'd like to send flowers, we've been working with O'Neals Flowers - https://www.onealsfloristandantiques.com/ - and Grimes Funeral Home, both in Bandera - https://grimesfuneralchapels.com. Dad requested any charitable gifts go to World Vision or MD Anderson. After their loving care of Dad during his last days, we also would add Peterson Hospice to that list.
