Day 40 of our fight against leukemia.

 

Somehow this sweet girl still has a smile on her face 🥰

 

Friday we started the 2nd and probably the toughest round of chemo...the dose was very high and there were many more side affects this time...I am happy to say that Thea of course took it like a champ and only got a little sick and we were able to leave the hospital again until this Friday...she will then get more chemo and her blood counts will be the lowest. We were told this will probably be the longest round of Thea having low counts and they really want to “blast” the leukemia and make sure it really is gone...when they do that they also “blast” all her good cells too unfortunately...Thea is such a fighter as we all have seen and I have no doubt she is going to do fine moving forward in this.

 

I also want to add how overwhelmed I am with all of the support we have gotten...we are so thankful and we could not make this journey with all of your help ❤️
