Good evening! Time for another update. We took Tessa for a laser treatment on April 2. It seemed like this was the hardest one yet… Tessa has never acted like she knew where we were when we went to Doernbechers but this was a first.😢 we hadn’t even got to the parking lot yet and she was saying “mommy I want to go home “😔 she was definitely on edge and quite a few tears while we waited in the waiting room. Finally got called back and Jeremy took her back but she just wasn’t having it so I traded him and went with Tessa and Jer watched the two littles 🤪 Tessa was pretty upset like usual when she wakes up… Got home and she had some symptoms she hasn’t had yet from the anesthesia.. she was extremely tippy on her feet and couldn’t hardly let go of her hand for awhile. Then that night she came into bed with me after Jeremy left for work and in a little she told me she was sick and needed a bucket. (Mind you we had ALL just got over the stomach flu, so I was pretty certain she wasn’t sick) anyway just like that she threw up all over🤦♀️ figured out in the morning when she got up and was perfectly fine that it must have had to do with being sedated.
One exciting update is that Tessa is done with the laser treatments, except for once or twice a year! They think, and we do too that her birthmark is as light as it’s going to get.
Then April 5 she had an eye appointment up in Portland so I took her to that. Everything seemed about the same. There has been some talk that if her right eye keeps crossing more that we will have to do an eye patch. We are hoping it doesn’t come to that.. not sure how she would put up with that over her eye🫣
I think that is pretty much all the news I have for tonight! ☺️
