Journal entry by Lisa Klatt

Terry has been doing well.  His breathing is difficult but he has been managing with his breathing machine throughout the day.  It is very difficult to get in and out of the house being he lives in a split-level home.  The stairs have become difficult (going down isn't as hard and coming back up).  His legs are getting weaker as is the rest of him.  He recently received a power wheelchair from his son-in-law and will help him be able to get out of the house and go on walks with his dog Belle or just move around better when out and about.  He is eating well and has gotten his appetite back after having some issues last year.

I have decided to do this Caring Bridge site to raise money for my father to install a ramp system so that he does not have to use the stairs at all anymore and so he doesn't become a prisoner in his own home.  If you are able to help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.  God Bless and thank you.
