Terry’s Story

Site created on January 17, 2021

Terry was severely burned in an accident on Thursday, January 14th.  He was air lifted to Lubbock to the UMC Burn Unit within hours of the injury. It has been a very traumatic ordeal for all of us. We have had so many people reach out to us and are so thankful everyone loves him as much as we do. It has been hard to keep everyone updated on his status  and we are sorry for that.  Please don't be offended if we don't answer or respond to a text. Most the time we don't know where our phones are and are resting when we can. We will be updating this site every evening to keep everyone in the loop.  Continue to pray for his healing. God is working miracles here.

Journal entry by Keri Huggins

Good morning. Dad met Jesus last night around 10:30. Me, Mom and Marci were bedside praying and telling him we would be ok. There are no words to even describe the past 45 days. Dad fought so hard and we fought so hard. The Drs and Nurses fought so hard. His passing wasn’t due to anyone’s lack of trying. We are devastated to say the least but we are also rejoicing he is pain free and with his dad and brother again and gets to be the first one to hold his son Michael. Funeral arrangements are pending with Nalley- Pickle, & Welch in Midland. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Timothy J Harner Burn Center at University Medical Center in Lubbock. We can’t even put into words how thankful we are to everyone that has held us up in prayer, sent cards, sent gift cards, sent food. We are surrounded with the best and know that y’all love dad fiercely.
