Here is the latest update on Terri. She started radiation yesterday and will start chemo pills on Thursday this week. She is showing improvement each day with therapy and it appears that her brain is healing from the surgery. We are taking it day to day, but we are 3 weeks past her surgery and seeing God's hand each step of the way. We are continuing to see His love through all your comments, cards that come each day, and offering of help and food. We are praying that God will continue to use the treatments to eradicate any cells that might be in the white matter. God will continue to do His will in our lives, please continue to keep Terri in your prayers. Thank you all for your support, it's been an amazing display of love.

Terri is my dear niece that I love dearly. I'm praying that our Heavenly Father heals her, He is the great physician.

Terri and I wanted to update you on what’s happened with her over the past week. She has had a few doctor appointments and we did get encouraging updates, but also some updates that were not what we hoped. The tumor was encapsulated and from what was seen on the MRI, all the tumor was removed. That is encouraging and favorable for her. That did not account for the “fingers” that might still be in the white matter of her brain, so the chemo and radiation is scheduled to help address that. We don’t know the extent of what remains, if any, or how her body will react to the radiation and chemo, but we are praying that God will continue His amazing work in her life and that the He will use the treatments to address the possibility of remaining cells. If there are remaining cells, they are aggressive in nature and will be attacked by the treatments. The radiation and chemo will last for 6 weeks, then her body will have time to rest for a month and at that time a new MRI will be done to see if there is anything happening. We are praying that God will not allow any new growth and the MRI will come back clear.
We have seen God work in amazing ways through the doctors, the surgery, the medications, and through all of you who have prayed for her and supported our family. The food, cards, flowers, and messages have touched our family so deeply. It’s truly showing us how God’s love is working through all of you. She will need your prayers through the next weeks. I am sure God knows what Terri needs and what His will is for her, I am praying that God will help me and you to know what that is as well. Her attitude is so positive and her will is strong. Her body has responded in a way the doctors said was “remarkable”. She’s going to put everything she has into this. All your prayers and support are part of her recovery. Thank you so much, we love you for what you have done for her. We just love Terri, it's that simple.
