Teri’s Story

Site created on November 10, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Teri went to the ER on Sunday, November 4th complaining of a persistent headache that has lasted for 5 days.  After a CAT scan we were immediately taken to Abrazo Central Campus in Phoenix after the results depicted a large mass growing in the frontal lobe.  We opted immediate surgery on Tuesday, November 6th to remove the brain tumor.  We are awaiting the pathology results and hoping to have this information back on Thursday, November 15th.   This has absolutely changed our world overnight.  Teri has such a devoted family and great group of friends rallying by her side.  :-).   Teri has been home since Thursday, November 8th and is resting and getting stronger.

Update on Teri Scholz.

Sorry this site has been neglected with what has been going on these past 10 grueling weeks and choosing other communication outlets to relay the messages on Teri's condition.

After 2 surgeries and starting only 1 week with chemo along with radiotherapy; Teri Scholz passed away on 1.12.19 from a very aggressive malignant brain tumor that spread throughout her brain.  The tumor was both untreatable and inoperable.  Thanks to you all for the very positive outreach our family  has received during this very difficult time.  Teri Scholz was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend and is deeply missed.
