Hi Terry, I'm Chris Ray, Nate Smith's oldest daughter.
Mom is so sorry to hear of the return of your tumors. She probably knew about them and forgot, at 94 we have a lot of that.
Since the receipt of your Christmas card and notes she has enjoyed reminiscing about you and dad both. I think she thinks you and dad were the dynamic duo of GD!
She sends her love and prayers for you to fight the good fight for as long as you wish. I'll add mine as well.
Mom has been ready to leave this world, and at the same time still derives joy in seeing her orioles and hummingbirds come to feed. Her flowers are blooming everywhere (some of us scattered lots of seed this year) and she's loving them. Mostly she's done with her memory loss and not being physically able to do a lot, but at the same time loves her caregiver. We have really scored big with Larri, mom has been teaching her about birds and gardening. I feel blessed everyday that these two women have met each other and spend everyday talking birds and flowers.
Please know that mom is very fond of you, and you hold a special place in her heart.
Chris

Good morning, Teresa - lovely heart as you are. I will be coming to see you on Saturday, and bringing your sister Christina with me. I will not wear my TeresaNorris Rex costume unless you absolutely request it.
Love, love, love,
Marianne
