Journal entry by Teresa Cooper

As I sit here in my chemo suite, I'm reflecting on my journey - now that it's coming to an end. Today, March 9, marks the last day of chemotherapy, thank you Lord!  What a miracle, to make it through - thank you dear God for watching over me.

Luckily, I get a month off before the last and final chapter closes along my journey.  I will be starting radiation for one month (5 days a week / = 20 treatments). I hope and pray the hardest part is done and the fear of the unknown is still a burden.  I know I'll power through it just as I did chemo!  I may even open up a can of whoop (BLANK)!

Thank you for your support, prayers, and everything in between - everyone has showed me so much love and I was stronger because of it. It's too bad I can't post videos on here so you all can hear that bell ring - such a glorious sound!  I rang it for everyone in there that day!  I can't lie, it brought me to tears which were filled with joy and relief!

Shout out to my oncology team, from the front desk to the infusion center, everyone was so sweet and kind. I'm actually going to miss my time spent there over the past 6 months - they treated me like family.  It's bittersweet... But mostly sweet! 💕🎉🥳🔔🤸🏽‍♀️😁

Be kind, take care, remain safe and healthy.

With 💕,

~T
