Sofia's Burial Service will be held next weekend 

When:

September 3rd at noon, meet up around 1130

Where:

210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534

We will be meeting up in the parking lot of White Haven Memorial Park starting at 1130, and drive back to the plot around noon.

Attire:

The attire is whatever you feel comfortable in, black is encouraged as it was her favorite color. Wear shoes that are good on a wooded and grass path.

Specifics:

Everyone is invited, this will be a casual affair held at Sofia's grave site.

We will start by reading from a box of notes started by her doctors and nurses. We encourage anyone who wants to add a note to the box to bring it and read it themselves and then place it in the box or give it to us before the reading and we will read it for you. Those who cannot attend in-person can send us thier note and we will add it in and read it for them.  The notes can be anything, a cherished memories, a funny dad joke, a poem, whatever your heart wished so send out to Sofia.

After the reading we will be placing her ashes in the site one at a time, we will have small viles  of her ashes for anyone wanting to be a part of laying Sofia to rest. 

Optional Afterwards Get Together:

Afterwards everyone is welcome to come to Cathy and Jim's house for some of Sofia’s favorite food: pizza, popcorn, and ice cream. Thier address will be provide upon request.
