Emily, thank you once again for articulating struggles and blessings you are experiencing. They are a powerful witness to the faith you and your mother have shared for so many years.
Dear Sweet Emily, Beautiful Lady, like your mama. There was a beautiful book that was chosen for our women's Bible study that helped me realize and accept my humanness, my weakness, the times I cried out to Him, my own shortcomings, needs, wants, desires, happiness, and anger were part of our humanity and how He made us. Through this book Rin helped to remind me that when Jesus came into this world he needed diapers changed, to be nursed, He got the flu, more than likely He threw 2 yr. old temper tantrums, climbed trees, skinned His knees, and all the other things most of us experience as humans. He partied, He loved His family, His friends, He got angry with righteous anger when the tax collectors defiled the temple. He went up into the mountains to pray and be alone to prepare to answer His father's plan. He even asked God to take the cup from Him. He felt alone, He was sad, He was happy. The shortest verse in the Bible is; Jesus wept!!! So remember our feelings were all felt by Jesus at least once when He walked this earth. So if. you need to weep, be sad, be angry, or any of the other feelings over the wonderful touch of Rin's presence in your life, that's ok!!! But also remember her faith throughout her lifetime could also bring a smile and a sense of peace to you throughout the worst of times. I love you very much Rin, I always will. Thank you for being a part of my life, thank you John, thank you Emily, Thank you to the rest of your family Run. Your touch will forever effect my life!!!!💖🦄
