Good news! Such a 'good news' kind of day! Progress and continued prayers and more progress and continued prayers and. . . you get the idea. Pete, you are a wonder and we continue to make this journey with you (though from afar.) Janet and the rest of the Murphy clan, we're still here for you. . . Blessings on all who have been and continue to be a part of this healing journey; a blest community of angels-sans-wings.

I awoke this morning with the sweet Murphys on my mind. I stand in amazement at the strength of an incredible father and mother as Joe and Janet advocate onward and Pete researchs what’s next in his recovery. Your face, your hands, your voice, and your faith have no doubt brought healing to Pete and serve as an inspiration to uncover what tomorrow holds.

Thank you for sharing this chapter of your lives with us and may you know you have a praying group of people that press forward alongside you in prayer. I pray God continues to sustain you spiritually, emotionally, and physically and that Pete is encouraged by the tiny miracles God provides day after day.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

And a special shoutout to all the nurses, nurse's aides and their leaders for taking care of Pete during his stay in the UMC SICU and ICCU. They are truly angels and advocates for patients and family members. We will always remember your kindness. Kim S: The bear has a new home in Pete's room at the VA!
