Hard to put into words the joy these posts convey and inspire. You did it, yes you did! Nins, we are all so lucky you're in our lives! (Laura and Jamie, you raised a phenomenal and fierce woman - yes you did!) And yes, as Papa Bear says, "your smile will only be bigger and your light even brighter" with this "bump in the road" behind you, but always part of you. What great news. After two different cancer surgeries in the past two years and a dose of radiation this summer that have for all practical purposes made me cancer free, I know that relief and joy that comes after the struggle. I also know the doubt that comes up with each blood test and 6 month physician visit. As you so wonderfully write, the only things we can do is say how lucky we are for the competence of our medical teams, the support of families, and the opportunity to live and love fully.
