Hi Katy,
What a meaningful post from an "expert" point of view! I've told your mom that you should think about publishing this through Cleveland Clinic's media. I'm sure it would be an inspiration to many people who are struggling. Love, Debbie

I absolutely loved your post today Katy! I was rediagnosed with Brest cancer in February & thank the good Lord my surgery was completed in early March. As I navigate this again after 9 years, I was heartened by your words. My life feels like it is once again on hold, mostly by the enforced shelter at home. I really miss my voice students who bring such energy & optimism to life. It is catchy! I really feel sad for all their losses... sports, prom, music adjudications & festivals, & maybe even graduation. We will all persevere & come out the other side.... maybe a little lopsided. I am planning some painting projects at home since nobody is coming in. I find out Tuesday if I have to do Chemo again 🤞🤞🤞I know radiation is ahead. Thank you Katy for your uplifting post. It was a wonderful way to begin this day! 😘

Gosh, I have been thinking of you this weekend and then I see your update! Wow! The universe works in crazy ways. So good to hear from you. Thank you for updating us. Also, you’ve already paid it forward by allowing us a glimpse of your journey. It has helped us understand and be understanding to others who embark on similar journeys. You’ve done more than you will ever now. Xo

Hi Katy, I was a bit apprehensive when I saw it was your C/B site, but reading it was a real positive, just like you are. Your insight is "right on". I think you might have answered your own question...how to give back...maybe in small doses just like this epistle that you wrote. You speak from experience, you have insight, and you shared. No matter our station in life, your lesson can be applied. I like the saying after a storm in one's life: "You can be bitter, or....you can be better"!
Thank YOU for being YOU.
