Newest Update

Journal entry by Amy Finley

It has been a LONG time since I have updated! Another chapter is coming to an end, I am currently at the cancer center getting my LAST KEYTRUDA INFUSION!!!!!! I am excited about this, but at the same time a little sad because coming here every 3 weeks has been a safety net. I will be back for follow-ups and whatnot, but I am going to miss everyone here so much. SBL Regional Cancer Center has the best nurses and of course Dr Shakir ❤. I don't even have the ability to describe my gratitude.
A couple weeks ago we celebrated my 1 year Cancerversary. I am 1 year closer to the magical number 5. Woot woot!

Since my last post I had another surgery and we have been super busy with holidays and musicals and soccer and softball. Plus, chemo is the gift that keeps giving. It has given me curly grayish brownish hair, arthritis, neuropathy, worse vision than I previously had, and random weird aches and pains that I probably had before but just didn't notice. We took up hiking when we can and getting sufficient exercise. I have also been getting back into part time homecare and really enjoy getting to work. My flower beds are very happy that I am active again too! For my Cancerversary Kris got me a new tiller!!! It is the perfect size for me and works great around all of my plants and flowers!

I want to thank you all again for everything this past year. On to the next chapter ❤❤❤❤❤

Love to you all
