Friends, I’ve been asked to post an update on Charli. In the 2 months since previous update we’ve encountered many hurdles. We haven’t gotten to MD Anderson because of insurance purposes. Charli had anaphylactic reaction to 1st round of chemo, 2nd infusion landed her in the hospital for several days. The 3rd round, at much lower dosage, seemed to go ok. Her liver is enlarged (ascites was first diagnoses), elevated heart rate & respirations, lab values are all over the place to say the least. She had 4th chemo week 1/2 ago & was admitted to ICU on Friday. Febrile, Bacterial infection In alimentary canal, pleural effusion ( drained 600ml), blood transfusions for low hemoglobin & hematocrit, iv potassium sodium & antibiotics, catheterized due to urinary retention. Waiting on results of cultures from blood urine & pleural fluid to gain insight as to what may be the culprit. I turn to the Lord & pray for mercy for her Please continue to pray for her and Thank you for all the support you’ve given us !!
