How wonderful to hear that Tate made it home. Our prayers have been answered. I can only imagine the joy for her and all of her family as she returned to their home. I will continue to keep you in my prayers for your recovery. God Bless.
Tate, I am Paige Blue’s mom. I learned about your accident from her. Her grandparents were hit by a drunk driver and left for dead about 19 years ago. We watched their mangled bodies heal over time but are reminded of this tragedy often through their remaining scars. Your story has reminded me of all the steps of their recovery. I witnessed amazing physical, emotional and mental strength through their recovery.
Through Rob’s updates on Caring Bridge I have felt these same amazing qualities and abilities displayed and evident in you. Rob is on point when he talks about you seeing your life and this world from a completely different perspective that most of us will never be privy to.
I want you to know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers since the beginning of your journey to recovery and you will continue to be. I have relived my own journey to forgiveness and understanding after such a senseless action from another human. I forgave only with the strength given from our Lord and savior. And now I pray, Dear Heavenly Father, please continue Tate’s healing journey with that strength and perseverance granted by You and only You. Continue to wrap your arms around her and her family as they begin the next chapter in her process of healing. And most of all, God, live loud through Tate so that she can show others what goodness and grace looks like in the face of evil. Thank you, God, for saving the life of this beautiful person and continue to surround her with Your armor!
In Jesus name,
Amen
Thank you, Rob for sharing your sister’s journey.
God bless you, Tate.
Sincerely,
Aimee VanderWeide
