Hello Team Tammy! 

Kara here...writing to you from GW Hospital in DC.  Tammy had her DIEP flap surgery here on Tues and is recovering very nicely. It was a very long surgery (~10 hours) and she was not a very happy camper when she was in the recovery room.  She told me she didn't like it and wanted to go home.  Uh, sorry, not an option, haha.

The good news is that her surgeons are very happy and she has good pain control.  She's been up and moving around.  She will probably be moved out of the ICU to the floor today and go home in the next few days.

When she is up to chat, she will let you know.  Please continue to send good vibes, prayers and well wishes her way.  She is so grateful and loves you all!
