The Chemo facility Tammy chose located by the Little Silver Train station at the time dissuaded Tammy from pursuing a clinical trial and convinced her to start treatment using a cancer treatment involving a "tree from the pacific northwest". I don't recall the Oncologist citing the type of tree which I believe to be the Yew Tree -- a.k.a., the "Tree of Death" LINK https://www.sunsigns.org/celtic-yew-tree-symbolism-meanings/
The Yew Tree's bark is classified as an alkaloid. Short story short, I've been taking Berberine -- also an alkaloid to get my digestive track back on track so to speak since before Tammy passed. I convinced Tammy to take the Berberine - Tumeric-Curcumin combination upon showing her the study being conducted on it's potential to treat cancer in an independent study. My point is alkaloids are used in cancer treatment -- fine. Tammy received a poisonous variety from the "Tree of Death" as opposed to one that is derived from a non-poisonous root (Berberine) or from flowers - namely Daffodils and Periwinkles. Yew Tree poisoning causes neuropathy -- Tammy's main complain -- other than the "life threatening side affect" she was exhibiting the last several days of her life.
