Forgive me for not posting sooner, but I needed a while to get some rest & recovery. I had my 2nd surgery June 3rd & it was a lot harder to get through than the original mastectomy. Skin grafts were involved & the pain when I woke up was excruciating! Spent 2 nights in the hospital. Had my post-op appts this past week & I’m feeling better. They removed 2 of the 5 tubes & the stitches/dressing from my left side. That gave me some relief, thankfully. I go back next week to have the rest of the tubes & sutures in my back removed. Best part was hearing NO cancer in my body anymore. Gotta keep that in mind while I heal. Cancer-free was the goal & that’s the report I got.
