Thank you, Kim, for sharing this with me. I've been waiting for word since Tami shared her decision. You have truly described her to be the deeply-faithed, stoic, and positive thinking person she was. She has been a mentor to all of us in what it is to trust in and love our precious Savior just as a child would. I, along with many others who have been privileged to have her touch our lives, will genuinely miss her. But I know in my heart and soul that God smiled on her and welcomed her home with his "Well done, good and faithful servant!" My prayers now go to Shad and Christopher, and all her family and friends who are traveling their path of grief. I will share with as many of the Jones family I can get in touch with here in Hanover and nearby areas. To Shad I pray your many wonderful, loving memories as her husband and help mate will sustain you and help smooth the very sharp edges of your grief. To Christopher, I pray you will continue on as the loving and happy son you have always been. God has blessed you with many talents and a good heart; and she has often shared her pride and thankfulness. To you both, I pray you will remain supportive of each other and never cease to recall those memories you have shared as family. To Gary and all the family, we can all be very proud of Tami and her unselfishness even to the point of allowing medical science to have the opportunity to learn more about ALS. We live in an imperfect world and we have had Tami to show us how you can live each day doing your best to make it better. Much love, Barb and Ron Wentz

Kim, you've given it your all and now top it off with a Journal entry as impressive as those which Tami submitted herself... both of you with an enviable gift of expression. I've thanked you in person, but can't say thanks enough to you, Richard, Shad, Christopher (I saw and heard how you took part) and each care giver, some I've met and many I'm sure I have not. It is at this time that every memory Tami and I created is so well worth it. I am one proud but broken-hearted Dad.

Thank you Kim, for writing this beautiful tribute. She would have loved what you have written and she would testify to its truth. Also, thank you for becoming mother-like to her and for how the LORD had brought you guys together with such incredible intimacy is more ways than one. Thank you for sacrificing so much of your life to become a major care giver to her. Thank you for speaking such powerful truth into her about eternal issues and Kingdom living. Thank you for pouring out your heart to her . . . not out of any sense of obligation, but because you came to truly love her. You made an incredible impact on Tami's life and you have made a huge impact in the lives of our entire family. We are truly blessed by your friendship and we are deeply grateful that you have become part of our family.

Thank you Kim. What a glorious and fitting post giving glory to God and so perfectly representing your daughter Tami. I’m so so glad our paths crossed on the patio in Gatlinburg taking in the Glory and Majesty of God. Now Tami sees fully and knows full well what we can only imagine.
