My daughter Brooklyn was born June 25 2009 with the placenta attached to her brain.Ochsner hospital nicu said when she was pulled of life support that she would die and they were 100% sure she would die right then !She proved them all wrong. Ochsner then said she would need a trach,a feeding tube,and breathing machine.They also said she would never talk or walk .Ochsner sent Brooklyn home on hospice when she was 4 months old .She's a miracle,she was taken off of hospice January 2010.she is proving everyone wrong!She's had multiple surgeries (I'm starting to loose count,it's so many)and she needs the following surgeries listed below.Brooklyn is also in need of a service dog.She's already been through more than anyone could ever imagine and she continues to smile through it all!She has proven she is a miracle by showing everyone she's here to fight and will not lose! these are the surgerys ,Chiari repair (brain surgery)which is on feb 22, 2019 in New York,Scalp tissue Expanders &Reconstruction ,repair of Skull Defects,Repair Orbital Hypertelorism  ,Hand Surgery

We just arrived in New York ! Brooklyn is doing great ! She sees the doctor in the morning ! She’s counting down the times!I’m so sorry if I don’t reply right away . Coming to New York two days a week has been alittle rough !
