My heart jumps when I see a post from Tallu’s caring bridge! Thank you Robbie for letting us know of the book’s release and family update! Tallu’s spirit is alive and well at Woodmont!
Clay mentioned her on Easter Sunday! Bless you!
Robbie, It’s true. People are not ready to let Tallu go because her spirit and influence are so powerful, so present, so fulfilling. Her wise words filter through our minds and her work in the community lives on to remind us again and again of her vision and accomplishments. The images of bread, the importance of food justice, the seeds given to the future at the moment of passing are now part of our collective mindset. Our increased compassion was cultivated by Tallu.
I will never forget…though I am paraphrasing & modifying… what she said about the expression of our sadness and loss being the flipped side of our love. I am turning to the flipped side, especially as I read her book. Today I am thankful for her insights on life and death which we would all be wise to embrace. Love you forever Robbie. Thank you for your courage.
Robbie, Thank you so much for sharing all of this. And thank you for sending me towards the narrator's reflection of Tallu's book. I rarely think about how the narrators of audiobooks consider their work - and this was just so beautiful. Love to you and your family. I'm really looking forward to the reading tomorrow.
Robbie: You continue to amaze me with your faith. Tallu is in so many places surrounding us all. I’m looking forward to tomorrow night’s event at HH. It will be another celebration of Tallu’s legacy. I pray for you daily.
Hi, Robbie. Prayers for you and your family as you reach another milestone. Gramercy Books in Columbus just called to say that the copies of Tallu’s book I ordered have arrived. I look forward to reading and sharing it. Peace and blessings.
We so look forward to reading Tallu's book. Very grateful for this circle of love and the countless ways it continues to find expression in the world. With love and gratitude and wonder at the great mystery . . .
