I so enjoyed laughing and learning with Joyce at the piano. She laughed so easily, especially at my "misbehaving fingers". I will miss our "gig's" at the Life Care Center and playing music at Barnes and Noble at Christmas., hearing the lovely pieces played at church on the piano and organ. I learned so much from Ms Joyce, about life and about music. That river just keeps flowing by and we have to "get into it", and never play a song that has "wrinkles" in it, practice more. I hope I get to see you again someday Joyce and the Angels will be glad to learn a thing or two about music from you. Blessings to Vernon and the "all grown up" kiddos as you figure out how to get along without your Mom, your Wife. Be strong and make her proud of you! She is watching over you, always!

We send our heartfelt sympathy to Joyce’s family.
We can’t imagine how hard it is to lose your loving wife and Mother so unexpectedly after January surgery. She will surely be missed for her special smile and friendship to all. She shared her wonderful gift of playing the piano so perfectly.
Also teaching and encouraging so many piano students. Rest In Peace Joyce!
