Well, you have had better news in the past. But from what you have written, I wouldn't even put road 3 on the table yet. First your surgeon said "He's not sure given what he knows now that he could even do it. " Second, you said you need " a PET scan, a pulmonary function test and a stress test to determine if my body is strong enough to get through the surgery". It sounds like others will make the decision for you. And who knows what the radiologist will add to the mix.
So keep your chin up, and your mind clear. Your friends have your back, and the prayers are continuing to come.

Oh, Susan. I am so sorry to hear this news. A very tough decision for you. My heart goes out to you. Please keep us informed. I am glad the doctor was honest with you. Not good news, but something you can work with.
