Journal entry by Susan Erbaugh

As Betsy has reported, my recovery is proceeding very well and  I'm beginning to feel familiar with myself!  What remains to have happen will be some genetic studies to confirm or rule out something called Lynch Syndrome, a familial pattern of susceptibility to cancer in a number of locations.  There has been a somewhat suspicious pattern of cancers in quite a number of my father's family members.  On behalf of my kids, grandkids and some other relatives, we'll pursue the possibility as far as it goes, so everyone affected can make appropriate plans for screening procedures and schedules.  Quite coincidentally, I have had previous surgeries that eliminated some of what might otherwise have been vulnerable sites for me.  Overall, the prognosis for me still looks very good, and while I will comply with follow ups,  I'll keep my expectations in that positive light.🤗🎃
