Journal entry by Susan Day

Su had a good night last night and when I got to the hospital this morning they were discussing letting her out
a day early.  They seem to have found a happy  medium in her pain management and her several incisions (five?)
seem to be healing.  Taking the main drainage tube from her lung cavity was the big win from a pain management
point of view.  Apparently it really hurt.

At any rate, she is back at the Candlewood Suites with me now, resting comfortably in bed.  We still have to go
to some final checkups on Monday to insure everything is on track for a safe/comfortable trip home.  Those checkups
are early Monday so we might get a few hours, travel in on Monday, say till we hit the West Virginia mountains.

I think this will be my last blog entry though.  I have seen Su tapping away on her IPhone since she got home so
I think my services will no longer be required.

Thanks again for your love, support and interest in our big adventure!
