Journal entry by Susan K Beeney —
- 11/3/21 Continued The TEE is trans esophageal endoscopy. Under anesthesia they put a tube down esophagus into your stomach and a camera to look at the underside through the stomach wall at the mitral valve. Sometimes the problem with the mitral valve is on the underside which cannot be seen during an echo cardiogram. From there depending on the results I may face micro valve surgery repair with a pig valve placed. I hope I will still enjoy bacon? Or just to continue to watch it as I have since diagnosed in 1981. Since I’ve only had one episode September 17 which led me to cardiology evaluation of what was happening. Maybe it is not urgent to repair. Pray please that it will indicate an isolated episode of something that does not require surgery. Thanks for checking in.
- Just know I am making wonderful progress as the Lord answers your prayers.
- Speaking of the Lord answering prayers and what we all experienced together, as you walked with me through this what seems like a miracle from our ( Rick and I) perspective. My 1st ICU nurse told me I would be there SIX WEEKS! I was DISCHARGED from the hospital - 4 days
- When I arrived in ER near death, a special oxygen treatment called “High Flow” ( created just 12 years ago) was put on me at 75 liters oxygen and 4 days left for home 3 liters O2. Miracle
- A young five year olds “Audrey”answer to the definition of “ “miracle”! is
- “That’s when GOD does something fancy”. AMen Audry
