Sue’s Story

Site created on October 17, 2018

Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer October 2018.  This blog will help keep friends and family updated about everything that is happening.  I (Cassandra) will regularly post updates about her treatment on here.  Thank you for all of your love and support. xoxo

Sue's surgery went phenomenal. Her surgeon Dr. Grubbs, came to talk to us and said he could not have asked for a better outcome. As it turns out none of Sues lymph nodes had cancer in them (previously several did). So the chemo did its job! No lymph nodes were removed and just the tumor in her breast was taken out.
Sue is home resting now, a little sore, but overall feeling well. Thank you to everyone for the prayers and well wishes. It really makes a difference in a persons recovery. I will update again in a few days about how Sue is healing and what the plan will be for treatment going foward
Xoxo
