Hey Shannon, I'm sending positive thoughts your way. Where are you now? An update to this site would be lovely.

Thanks for the update from all of you! Wow-- I love those photographs so much! I am sure sorry to hear about the recent turn of events but glad to have that downturn balanced with the snapshots and stories of your family together at music concerts, wilderness get-aways, camping trips, ComicCon (!!), etc. Nature heals what medicine cannot. I hope a little more time will bring a full recovery-- and great happiness for all!

hang in there all of you! The docs don't tell you how dang long the healing part takes (I guess they don't want to prejudice you or bum you out?) and it can be discouraging when you think "thank god it all over" and its not. The kids look great and I can see the positivity and love in their faces.

Thinking of you Shannon!

Wow. Lots to report. Thank you for letting us know how things are going. I am really sorry about the feet. I have only recently (in the past 6 months) learned about the side effects of chemo. I am not sure why I never knew, given all the people I have known who have had chemo of one type or another. I have other friends with peripheral neuropathy due to MS and other problems, and they have worked on their strength and shown some improvement. I hope you find ways to deal with it. My love to all of you.

I LOVE that hood ornament! Sorry about the mold issues but happy you will have a freshly painted home when you get back. Prayers and positive energy for continued healing and strength. The overnight camp sounds like fun--- for Mom and Dad too!.

Thanks for the update. I continue to pray for you all - for strength, courage, and peace as you face these tough challenges. You touched on two very important points, I think: ongoing adaptation to the "new normal" and establishing a routine. Those two things were a help to me during the years of Jim's illness. Going to the concerts, Comic Com, summer camps is a great way to fight back and live as well as possible! You all have my love (of course) and deep respect for the way you are handling yourselves and the situation.

The car ornament is so fitting for him.
A botanist needs to have ways to get out there.
I hope that his feet improves.

It was good to see you downtown last night! I hope the hotel stay just passes quickly so you can be in home sweet home.
