Steve will always be a leader in my life.
We worked together to get his design department into shape then..... then he turned on me to get my bunch into shape.
As a team, I think our company became a shining star in the deign world.
His input, and my random thoughts always led to something interesting.
We worked closely together on a number of JBLM projects, and together we established a uniform set of submittal documents (what a chore !!)) that made us golden in DPW and COE eyes.
A couple of dumb engineers and a really, really good admin assistant did it---who would have thought we could pull it off ??
On travels, Steve always managed to find decent weather.
We went to Montana for a project walk in December----it was 75 degrees that day with snow banks still on the sides.
We went on another visit---snow the week before---snow the week after us.
Steve will always be a huge part of me, and I'm sure everyone around him.
He led a glorious life.
Something that we should all aspire to.
