I'm finally reading your latest entry today Fiona. You and the kids continue to be in my prayers as you walk this difficult road. You're not alone, even if it seems like it. May the snatches of color amid the grey give you enough for each new day. PS Glad you finally met a compassionate human being on the Autopac journey. Yikes.

Please do take Joy up on her offer Fiona! Tomorrow, we start our trip towards Ottawa, then eventually Nova Scotia. It has felt like a 5 person job to try to tie up all the loose ends, leave the house and gardens and yard tidy, and to pack. And yet, you did that......all on your own. Fiona, I can't even imagine the toll of your responsibilities but you are such a champion! Truly, you are amazing!

Sounds just about exactly right--you don't need to say it any other way. Also sounds like situation exactly normal, considering, which is nothing at all like saying it's OK--just that you're on a very understandable path. We love you, and are all here around the periphery, to help when we can in different ways...

Oh dear one - my heart aches as I read. May you feel the strong arms of the Almighty One carrying you and holding you tight. You are walking in this, one day at a time and how hard it is - how extremely hard. Please know that there is always a space here should you be able to retreat one day, or two (or more). I would love to get the room ready for you, and pour you a hot cup of tea, and make your meals - and let you just be. Please take me up on it.
With love, Joy
