Journal entry by Laurie Teachout —
Yesterday was a big day..Steve was discharged from the hospital and is at our Daughter’s house enjoying being with people and eating well prepared meals. The hospital was great but there is nothing like home. Right now our grandson is playing an instrument for him..they are called bells but in a tray..sort of like a xylophone but flat. He is teaching himself to play via the internet. The school had students pick up instruments and they will be used in a course this spring. Nothing like a little TLC to help you get better.
Steve still has another doctor appointment on April 17th and gets a catheter in his shoulder removed on April 21st. After that we can think aboiut driving home. He is still on some heavy antibiotics, but nothing our of the ordinary. So thrilled that the worst is behind us...or so we think.
Thank you agian for all your support and prayers. Everyone of them have helped.
