Greetings. What beautifully documented series of visits. There’s no doubt you are a paradigm journalist, among other things. We are with SDS, with you, and with your entire family through this journey. He has succeeded many times in this marathon of life and this will be yet another SDS victory. Belligerent optimism always, no option. Saludos y abrazos.
Hi Steve, I received word of your accident from Mike Pharr, Class of 64, who was my big brother/sponsor at Phi Gamma Delta before I moved from San Antonio to Houston. Your progress seems little short of miraculous, and I’m praying that you continue on your current path. Best, Ted Pinson
I can't imagine the frustration. And I really look forward to hearing how the face to face goes once you get in. Please give uncle Steve a big loving hug from his adoring niece Shana. xoxoxo
Steve’s family,
I just heard about Steve’s horrible accident. What I heard was without much information. Randy Wilson told me about this site.
I have read the posts from Helen and Harry etc.
Learning what happened and the extent of Steve’s injury and his struggle to improve is sad and frightening. That you cannot be with him makes this so much more difficult.
I do know that no one has more strength and will to achieve than Steve. I hope and pray that with the support from his therapists and his family he will be playing and singing his composition, Mandell & Wright Fight Fight Fight, soon.
