Steve,   I Googled info when I heard about your accident. I read that bike riding has a purpose for you more than just staying in shape. My wife has MS and my partner Dan has two sisters, mother and uncle that have and had MS. We are praying for your full recovery Steve; we need you back in the race !!!      Bob Prosi ( CME suit )

Ellen, Stacy & Harry, thank you for the updates, they are a source of great comfort to your community of friends. I am excited for your visit with Steve tomorrow which I am sure will enliven his spirit. Maybe take some of his favorite music to play and be sure and tell him about all of us who are cheering him on. You are each in my thoughts during this difficult time and I am praying for Steve's speedy recovery.  Warmest wishes, Ophelia

Dear Ellen, my wife Nanci Priest and I, Rod Quainton, Yale '62 are stunned by today's news, as we send our prayers and heartfelt condolences to you and the family. Steve's generosity to Yale at our 50th Reunion for the lovely art gallery renovation is remembered fondly as Art History was my favorite subject at Yale. While not knowing each other at Yale, we got to know him and you Ellen at several mini-class reunions especially the one you hosted in Aspen. Steve also generously sponsored us at the Yale Club in NYC when we visited our NYC children. He was a caring and compassionate person, cycling for MS every year. Again our prayers are shared with all as you sit Shiva. The Rev Rod Quainton and Nanci Priest
