Journal entry by steve snipstead —
Hello Friends,
I just got back from my Urology appointment. Everything went well. All of the biopsies were negative. The cancer in my prostate had not grown much since by biopsy in January. And I got my catheter out! The only complication so far is a hematoma next to my bladder on the right side. It is a collection of blood and lymphatic fluid from the 26 lymph nodes that they took out and examined. I will need to watch for swelling in my right leg. And be careful not to strain. I would say this is very good news!
I still have a 2 to 4 week time of recovery ahead of me, but I can get more active as I feel better. the next big event is my first PSA test on July 19. We are grateful to God for the way he has cared for us. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
