John, Lee has pretty well summed up our feelings... We are so sorry. ... What I will remember about Steve is his smile. He always had one and it would light up the room. Just looking at his smile made me smile. His smile went along with his humor and wit! He seemed to have such a joie de vivre that just made the common day-to-day stuff special. Thank you for bringing Steve into our lives and sharing him with us. Love, Marsha and Lee

John, I am so sorry. I cannot believe it was just last spring that we enjoyed champagne and food at your lovely home. Steve, as always, was a gracious host. He is no longer in pain, and his legacy of kindness, wit, and graciousness will live on with our memories of him. There are no words to offer to heal your grief and loss. Sending you love and prayers. May Steve eternally rest in peace.

John, I appreciated your perseverance in tracking me down after so many years of not seeing each other. The reconnection after so long a time has meant a lot to me. My regret is that I did not get the chance to meet Steve and to introduce both of you to Vicki.
I cannot pretend to say that I know the grief you are feeling at this moment. But know that you remain in our thoughts and prayers and we will hope to see you again before too terribly long.

John,
I am sad reading your message and just want to send you my most heartfelt condolence. Consider it a substitute for the big hug I would offer if I were there. I smile just thinking od Steve and I always will. He truely lived as example to us of how to be a better person. And together you both have shown us what a true loving relationship is.
I look forward to seeing you again in the future. In the meantime, know that Marsha and I will be thinking of you and Steve often and send ing our love and respect.

Dear John.
My heart is broken, as is yours, hearing the news of Steve’s passing. He was such joy to be around with his infectious smile and clever sense of humor. Steve has now been restored and made whole again as you are left in pieces. May God hold Steve in the palm of his hand while wrapping His loving arms around you as you begin to navigate this profound loss. Holding you in my heart and wishing you God’s peace.

Sad news, and so hard to give and to take. You did everything you could and more during his illness, and every step of the way to ensure Steve had a peaceful passing. Blessings and deep hugs.
