Steven’s Story

On October 24, 2018, Steven was diagnosed with Stage 3 Gastroesophogeal Adenocarcinoma. After an initial round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, Steven was evaluated for surgery in February of 2019, but was no longer a candidate as the cancer was found to be Stage 4.  Steven continued a new chemotherapy regimen from March 2019 to November 2019. All testing showed generally good response to treatments until his recent scan in November 2019, which unfortunately showed the cancer progressing again. Treatment will continue to move forward as we determine our best options.

Friends and family,
A celebration of life service has been set for my sweet Steven on Sunday August 9 at 7:30. The service will be held outside and will follow social distancing guidelines to ensure safety. You must RSVP and read the details regarding the service below.
