Happy Labour Weekend everyone. We hope you are out and about enjoying the lovely weather. Katy here for an update on Dad.

To be honest, Dad is quite unwell now and has deteriorated quickly in the past few weeks. He is needing full time care and we have a wonderful local group of retired nurses who come and care for him every day. He is not eating much and sleeping most of the days but is still determined to ask Mum what she wants to do today every morning.  He has even stopped showing interest in his phone lately – hard to imagine as it has been an extension of his arm for many years now!

He is very frail and withdrawn but happily watches racing on YouTube on his good moments.

We really appreciate all the messages and txts from you all but unfortunately haven’t had the time to reply to them all.  We know many of you will want to visit and we wish he had the energy for it but now it is about making sure he is comfortable and making most of what quality family time we have left.
