Marilee I wanted to meet you yesterday to tell you Thank you so much for keeping all of us informed on Caringbridges. You did an awesome job with details which helped us to pray for Pastor Steve and His family and frankly all of us. Yesterday’s memorial Honored Steve and I want to imagine he was in Gods Kingdom smiling down. You are right we are all blessed to have had a touch of this man in our lives....May God bless you and the whole Marshall family and all Steves sibblings and family.

It’s been an honor to know Steve & the Marshall family. Even though I hadn’t seen Steve consistently since high school, almost 20 years ago, he’s someone that made a lasting impression on my life. What a beautiful tribute to Steve yesterday....to see where God took him in his life and how he ministered to so many throughout his life-the kindness of this man. Love seeing the pictures and hearing from Maggie and the kids.
Liddy and I were able to watch it from her UCSF hospital bed. Looking back at texts he wrote her while they both were in the hospital, Steve was always so concerned about Liddy and would send her encouraging words. From November 13, he wrote: “My verse of encouragement today. May it encourage you. “Isaiah 41:10 (ESV): 10. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” I think he’d say that to all of us today - Fear not! God is with you!

truly God gave us all a gift in Steve Marshall. He will truly be missed and Marilee thank you too for all you wrote during his journey.
