I remember Steve using an abacus in front of his computer terminal (at his stand-up desk). He was probably in his 20's. Those high-order digits are to the left (by convention), so carrying could give practice in looking leftward.

Thank you so much for the update.
The photos are fantastic -- it's wonderful to see Steven smile!

Keep finding those tricky left turns, Steven!
Hmm -- maybe if you sing, you can hear the difference in sound when a hallway is there.
Oh, look that is a thing -- human echolocation (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_echolocation).
An excuse for more singing! Yay!

Hi Steve, My mom had multiple myeloma. They just continued to find new treatments; she did well; and that was years ago! You are climbing a mountain, that's for sure! I hope you can feel us all here to catch you when you fall,; cheer lead when you stop climbing,; hold you when it's cold and terrifying; and Always be a source of hope, support, comfort and love. Love to you, Kim, and family. Marty

Wonderful progress!! And so awesome that the sense of humor is fully intact. Thanks for the pics and explanation. Your openness through all of this is highly commendable.

Hey Steven, want to hear a paper joke? Never mind, it’s tearable!
