Extremely lovely weather we're having this week! I'm on vacation and really enjoying not having to leave the house. I only went out today because we were out of dog food.
Steve completed his radiation treatments yesterday - he finished in 28 days with time off for good behavior and even extra credit. Not sure what the radiation Doc meant by that Monday except he tolerated the treatment well. We would have forgone the extra credit if it was up to us. It's going to take a week or so for him to start feeling better so we're just taking it easy for now. His PET scan is scheduled for Dec. 27 to see where he stands so some much needed recuperation time for the rest of the year.
I finished the the T-shirt quilt top today - below find a few photos. I'm really pleased with it. I have also quit smoking - tomorrow is 4 weeks!! Working hard on Steve and he has cut down considerably.
Hope everyone takes some time to enjoy the autumn weather and colors - enjoy your holiday seasons and we'll let you know when we know more at the end of the year.
One day at a time......
Everybody loves the sound of a train in the distance.
Everybody thinks it's true.
What is the point of this story?
What information pertains?
The thought that life could be better
Is woven indelibly
Into our hearts and our brains
