I am sorry to receive this message. My heart goes out to Steve's family and friends. The world lost a good person, but now Steve is with the Lord watching over us. Again my blessing to you all.

So sorry to hear this but I know he is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I know how much he will be missed and I hope God feels your hearts with special memories of all the good times shared with him. It was a pleasure to know him.

Steve was such a great guy, Steve and I roomed together in Charlotte after college. He made it a point to stay in touch with his high school friends no matter where he lived. I enjoyed seeing him each summer when he would launch “The Hobie “ at our place in Morehead. I’m going to miss him.

Steve was the most wonderful friend to all who knew him and was a kind, gentle, and loving soul. We will all miss him tremendously!
